The simultaneous production of cooled low energy positive and negative muons can be utilized in the discovery of new and more compact leptonic exotic atom. The frictional cooling procedure used in a lower energy than an ionization peak in ΔE/dx vs momentum diagram is one of the intriguing techniques. In order to improve and confirm such technique the simulation and experimental proof of principle have been investigated with the GEANT4 code as well as with the low energy proton accelerator (OCEAN-II). The energy and emittance density distribution using thin foil moderators are slightly improved by applying a suitable longitudinal electric field.
